Transportation screening packages and pricing

Match the package to the driving duties and screening requirements of the position. For non-CDL delivery and transportation roles, choose the Non-CDL Driver Package. Its MVR driving history search reviews a candidate’s driving record, but it does not verify CDL status.

For a commercial driving placement that requires a CDL, choose the CDL Driver Package. It adds CDLIS and FMCSA verification (PSP driver history) to the non-CDL searches. If the position also requires DOT-compliant drug testing, choose the CDL Driver Package + DOT Drug Test. Select the package with a DOT physical when the hire needs that exam as well.

For warehouse associates, production workers, and general labor, choose Light Industrial Basic. Light Industrial Specialist adds county and federal criminal records, MVR driving history, and professional license verification for equipment and industrial roles requiring documented qualifications. Confirm which professional license the verification covers; neither an MVR nor a license check alone certifies forklift or equipment qualification.

MVR driving history checks a candidate’s driving record. It does not verify a CDL or other driving credential. The 8–24-hour turnaround is an average, not a guarantee, and depends on search and source availability.

CDLIS checks commercial license records and status. FMCSA verification (PSP driver history) provides federal crash and roadside inspection history. These checks serve different purposes, so an MVR alone should not be treated as CDL verification.

The CDL Driver Package does not include drug testing. Choose the CDL Driver Package + DOT Drug Test when the placement also requires a DOT-compliant drug test.

The drug test adds appointment scheduling, laboratory processing, and medical review officer review, which can extend turnaround beyond the CDL Driver Package’s average. This tier does not include a DOT physical.

The CDL Driver Package + DOT Drug Test + DOT Physical brings driving-record screening, DOT-compliant drug testing, and a DOT physical into one order.

The DOT physical requires a medical exam appointment, separate from the record searches. The 2–5 day average depends on appointment availability, testing, and source-record availability. It is not a guaranteed completion time.
